I am so humbled and thrilled that my art, that I feel is most like me, is getting such an overwhelmingly positive response. The support system that I am surrounded by, be it my family and friends or my art journaling buddies online, is just amazing to me and so very precious. I think through this art journaling experience I have discovered that I'm not just playing in an art journal but I am actually creating art. I am beginning to see myself as an artist. Is this what the birth of an artist looks like? How powerful and motivating--I can't wait to see where I can push myself and my art next. Creative bliss...FOUND.

Definitely you are an artist. Beautiful pieces! What do you use to create these? I see so many layers!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! I have a tutorial on my Flickr as well as other examples of this technique. I use acrylic, watercolor, pen, pencil, collage, etc. I then edit the digital photos I take of the piece to get the final result I'm looking for.
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous. I love the emotion that comes out in each piece.
