First EVER "Journal Junkie Kit" and recent work

I finally completed the first EVER "Journal Junkie Kit"--this one is headed to Shelley--the winner of my recent random giveaway to celebrate my 1 year BLOG-iversary! I really enjoyed putting together a kit like this and am looking forward to doing it again soon.  Let me know what you think!

I've been having a lot of art related fun recently.  I'm participating in a traveling journal swap, and exploring my artistic style.  I hope you like my most recent efforts...

The top two were made with handmade sticky-foam stamps and stencils, acrylics, Copic markers and Craft Smart paint pens.  These were an exploration of color.  The bottom two were made with acrylics, copic markers, Prismacolor pencils, and Crayola Twistables (similar to gel sticks).  I was impressed with how well they blend--just used my fingers mostly.  I love that they are low mess--and fairly cheap.  They are perfect for those creative moments away from my studio space and would work well in a travel kit as well.

All of the originals above were then photographed and digitally altered to get the final art images you see here (love using technology in my creative process!).  I'm using the top image (lavendar/lime green) as the wallpaper on my phone.  It makes me smile everytime I see it.  How do you surround yourself with your art?
